Philosophy: The Meaning of a Word
Recently a friend asked me this: Does the meaning of a word have a meaning to begin with or is it what a person interprets it to be? What are your thoughts about this?

First, I would like to say welcome and thanks for visiting. So you are probably thinking: "What's the point of this blog and what's a New Renaissance Man?". Simply put, this blog is here to discuss recent ideas, art, and philosophy.
Specifically: A lot of talent goes unnoticed throughout the world. I'm here to discover it and expose it to everyone. Ever see a talented artist on the side of the street or perhaps online somewhere? Show me and I might write something about the artist on here. The same goes for ideas and philosophy: If there is something that should be brought to my attention email me and I may have it featured here!
As for my ideas on a New Renaissance Man? This type of person is the one that takes a few minutes off their hectic schedule and enjoys a small debate, indulges a few minutes to the musician on the side of the street or commissions art from a budding artist.
